The present invention relates to a phase direction-finding interferometry system for detecting electromagnetic waves and deriving their direction of arrival, from the type to at least one bidirectional interferometer composed of two unidirectional interferometers each comprising a series of antennas (Ant1 at Ant.4), the antenna centers of each unidirectional interferometer being aligned on an axis, and this system is characterized in that these axes intersect each other at a point (O) located between at least two adjacent antennas of a unidirectional interferometer, this point being determined so as to remove ambiguities from the system.
