The brake has a yoke with upstream and downstream arms (21, 22) receiving support ends of brake pads and guiding displacement of the pads perpendicular to brake surfaces of a brake disc. A caliper (3) is slidably mounted with respect to the yoke along a direction perpendicular to the surfaces and applies a pressure force on supports of the pads to hold the disc. The caliper has lateral ends (31, 32) including guiding/support surfaces (33, 34) sliding against one arm, and with support pads mounted between the caliper and the arms by sliding along a direction perpendicular to the brake surfaces.
