The method involves storing a downloaded software module (10) in a storing zone (11) that is different from a FLIP memory zone in which a current software module is executed. The storing zone is defined as a new execution zone, and the FLIP memory zone is defined by a switching variable (13), where the switching variable is a logic value that permits designing of the FLIP memory zone. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a downloading system comprising an information processing unit (2) a computer program comprising a sequence of instructions for implementing a software module downloading method.
