The system has a laser source (8) emitting a laser beam (9), and transmission optics forming a laser illuminating beam (16) of an object from the laser beam along an emitting axis. A Cassegrain telescope (1) receives light from back-scattering of the laser illuminating beam on an object along a main axis. The transmission optics includes a reflecting mirror (13) arranged at the back of a secondary mirror (4) and reflecting the laser beam emitted by the laser source for constituting the laser illuminating beam, where the emitting axis and main axis are connected to each other.
