A self-aligning device has a Belleville type washer (11) arranged for exerting a self-aligning force on the bearing placed opposite to the surface (7b) of the support and an axial retaining ring (9) of the washer, where the ring (9) is integrated to the surface (7a). A radial deformation (10) is formed by punching after fitting the ring (9) on the support.
