Treatment of a leachate containing a mineral pollutant like carbonate and an organic pollutant, comprises addition of lime to the leachate to react with a fraction/total of the carbonate contained in the leachate and microfiltration of the obtained leachate to obtain a substantially treated filtrate i.e. free of any particle and a concentrate.
