The bandage (1) has a sterilized textile layer (2) connected on an inner side of a support (3) in shape of a shell and taking functional shape. The layer is adapted to dorsal, thoracic or abdominal morphology of the animal, during installation of the layer on the animal using a fixation unit that surrounds partially to obtain compressive effect. An outer layer (5) supports or constitutes a part of the fixation unit, where the layer is made of polyamide.
