The element has an indexing part co-operating with the fitting positioned in faired grooves of the door via complementary shape of the fitting. The support part has an opening (6c) for engaging a tool that determines positioning of a fixation unit co-operating with the fitting, where the fitting is constituted of a hinge strap (1), coupling plate, bar, yaw, casement bolt or strap hinge.
