The piston for an automobile vehicle engine, comprises a piston body (10) having an outer side (11) of combustion, an inner vault (12) and a thermal short-circuit capable of deviating thermal flux from the outer side towards the inner vault. The thermal short-circuit comprises an inner core of the piston body and elements, and is opened on the inner vault. The core is produced in a material having a thermal conductivity higher than the thermal conductivity of a piston body material. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for the production of piston; and (2) a thermal engine for automobile vehicle.
