The device has a counterpart (2) with a lower edge (22) formed in an extension of a plating surface (21) and connected to the surface for forming an upper edge of a body shell, where the shell is formed by laminating fibers and harden resins. A reservation part (3) is cooperated with entire height of the surface for forming a projection at a surface of the wall. The projection forms a reservation in a lateral wall of the shell during molding, where the reservation permits assembling of prefabricated elements e.g. basin, with a shape complementary to the reservation. An independent claim is also included for a method for forming a body shell of a swimming pool.
