The device has a fluid zone (22) in connection with a fluid (21). A radiation source (1) emits a measuring radiation (15) in a direction (11) towards the fluid zone. A radiation sensor (3) detects the measuring radiation reflected in another direction by the fluid zone. The sensor includes micromechanical sensing elements whose spectral sensitivity is different for a selective detection based on a wavelength of the reflected measuring radiations. Each of the sensing elements includes a radiation filter for adjusting the spectral sensitivity. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring parameter of particles in a fluid.
