The method involves adding a powder (20) on a damaging zone constituted of defects such as crack (14) and hole (16), and an area contiguous to the defects. The zone is heated by generating an induced current in the zone for passing the powder to a liquid state. The current is generated by an inductor e.g. bent tube (30), via which electric current passes, where the inductor partially covers the zone without contacting the zone.
