The end box (1) has a base part (2) receiving an end of a strap (17), and a cover part (3), where the box is formed by casting a single piece of synthetic material. The parts are joined together by a hinge (4), and have retaining points (5, 8) for cooperating with the strap. The case forms a passage for the strap and an orifice from a side opposite to the passage, in a closed position of the parts. The hinge is placed laterally, and a sleeve (10) for protecting and guiding elements e.g. optical fibers (18), is provided in the box around the orifice.
