The bag e.g. shoulder bag (2), has a front piece (4), rear piece with a closure flap (6), and a frontal band (7) for maintaining the closure flap, where each piece has a bottom flap and lateral flaps. A strap (3) assembles the pieces and the band, and is alternatively threaded in slits provided on bottom and lateral flaps. The flaps of the front piece cover the flaps of the rear piece for forming sides and a base of the bag. The band is provided with an opening (11) at each end for passing the strap to ensure the fixation of the strap. The pieces, the band and the strap are made of leather.
