The tube (12) for a heat exchanger of an automobile vehicle, comprises an oval form cross-sectional boundary (26) with a small axis and a large axis with a constant diameter, successive undulations (30) defined by longitudinal periodic variation in a small axis region, and a wall with constant thickness. The boundary has a double symmetry according to the axes, a diameter shrinkage with a curvature inversion in a small axis region, and defines two wall concavities in a central part of the tube section. The concavities turn one towards the other in a center of the boundary. Independent claims are included for: (1) a heat exchanger; and (2) a process for the fabrication of a tube.
