The apparatus has a Doppler probe to measure diastolic speed and connected to a Doppler apparatus with a graph displaying green, orange and red color zones. The green zone represents speed greater than 40 centimeters/second and normal functioning of the approach. The orange zone represents the speed ranging between 20 and 40 centimeters/second and the approach presenting moderate stenosis. The red zone represents the speed less than 20 centimeters/second and the approach presenting severe stenosis significant of donor artery, anastomosis or superficial/deep venous return.
