The assembly has a rigid bar (4) made of a metallic material i.e. aluminum, and a multi-stranded cable (2) made of another metallic material i.e. copper. A strip (5) made of third metallic material e.g. iron, is arranged between the bar and a strand (1) of the cable. The third metallic material is similar to the former metallic material or has an electrochemical potential intermediate between an electrochemical potential of the former material and an electrochemical potential of the latter material.
