The splitter has a steel frame (1) with a base (2) at an end. A jack (4) is supplied by hydraulic fluid from a fluid channel (12) connected to a distributor (11), where the jack controls up and down movement of a cutter blade (5). The distributor is fixed on a side of a tractor to be carried by a hand of a driver of the tractor. The distributor is removable for being positioned on a frame when the splitter is utilized in an autonomous manner. The base includes an extrusion on its rear part for stabilizing the splitter in autonomous usage.
