The socket has an automatic connection terminal (55) connecting a reception space (54) to a power cable (5), and with a support wall (50) at which a seat (57) is placed and a retainer ring (45) carrying a flexible spring blade (42). The space has a mobile wall (52) displaceable with respect to a fixed wall (46) of the space during introducing a prong (6) in the space. A wall (51) is connected to the support wall to drive the support wall towards the blade during displacement of the mobile wall such that the cable is held by the support wall and the blade in presence of a prong in the space.
