The connector (10) has a monoblock support strip (11) carrying juxtaposed male and female contact elements (12a, 12b), where the strip is formed as a single piece by molding a plastic material. The contact elements are plugged in hollow support studs of the support strip, and has FASTON(RTM: flattened terminals) to transmit a high current that is in the order of 25 Amperes. An independent claim is also included for an alternator regulator comprising an electrical contactor and components embedded in a resin.
