Nail varnish comprises an organic solvent medium comprising an ester solvent having 3-8 carbon atoms and a gelling agent containing a compound derived from the reaction of polyisocyanate and primary amine, where the ester is present at = 20 wt.% and the varnish comprises less than 5 wt.% of clay. An independent claim is included for the cosmetic process or non-therapeutic care for makeup of nails comprising the application of at least a layer of the nail varnish composition on the nails.
