The system has a main drive shaft, whose rotation axis (A1) is fixed with respect to a bearing body (3). The drive shaft is rotationally driven in the body, by a drive device, for driving a wiper blade-holding arm. A drive shaft (4) extends above the body in direction of the shaft (1) and receives the arm on its upper end (40). A mechanism constituted of cam, sliding elements (6, 7), shell forming element (8), mobile element (9) and spring type elastic element (10), varies the inclination of an axis (A2) of the shaft (4) based on the angular position of the shaft (1) about the axis (A1).
