The device has a rafter (1) screwed directly on a wooden plate (2) using a screw (3), where the rafter is grooved laterally for facilitating the screwing. A glue stripe (4) is placed between rafter and plate, before screwing for strengthening the connection between the rafter and plate. The plate is machined in wainscot manner to give a traditional appearance to a ceiling. The plate has an assembly profile on their edges, where the profile hides the connection between the plate and other plate. The plates have variable lengths and widths, such that number of rafters per plate is varied.
