The device has a support foot (31) to immobilize a rigid chassis (4) with respect to a basin of a swimming pool. Elevator units formed by a support (14) arrange a motorized axle (6) in a top position with respect to the basin to proceed to unwinding of a flexible cover above the basin. The axle has a coupling unit cooperated with another coupling unit of complementary shape, where the latter unit is fixed with a rolling bar equipping the cover.
