The tower (1) has flanges (4-6) having lower sections (4a-6a) and upper sections (4b-6b), where the sections (4a-6a) form a truncated pyramid edge and the sections (4b-6b) are parallel to each other. The sections (4b-6b) are separated from one another for forming a triangular prism. A rigid horizontal triangulation (7a-7i) connects the flanges with each other along a connection zone distributed on height of the tower. Nodes are connected between the flanges and the triangulation (7a-7i) of successive connection zone on each side of vertical triangulations (9a).
