Gas ejecting nozzle for ducted-fan turbine engine, has slot displaced between closed position in which slot blocks openings to reproduce form of external surface and deployed position in which slot projects in channel to modify sections
The nozzle (32) has a primary annular hood (36) with longitudinal openings (48) disposed with respect to collar and ejection sections (44, 46). Each of a set of complementary slots (50) is housed inside each opening. Each slot is displaced between a closed position in which the slot blocks the openings to reproduce form of hood's external surface and a deployed position in which the slot radically projects in a secondary annular channel (42) to modify the sections. The slots are deployed in the channel to close the sections according to operating rates of a ducted-fan turbine engine (10).
