The method involves circulating a mobile phase in a circuit of a helical shaped centrifugal partition chromatography (100) including cells (2), in which the phase is driven between inlet and outlet ends of the circuit along a driving direction by a pumping and circulating unit. A rotor of the chromatography is rotated around a rotation axis to generate a centrifugal force field on the circuit. A rotor rotation direction and driving direction are adjusted to oppositely set the driving direction and another direction which drives content of the circuit towards one end by Archimedes screw effect. An independent claim is also included for a centrifugal partition chromatography type liquid-liquid separating system comprising a fixed part.
