The mask (1) has a reinforcement bar (8) arranged on a frontal zone (7) of the mask and placed opposite to a mouth of a user such that the deformation of the frontal zone does not causes the frontal zone to contact with the mouth during respiration. The bar has two free ends connected to opposite lateral edges of the mask, where the bar is made of plastic material. A comfort strip covers a conformation bar (9) on an internal surface of an upper edge of the mask. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a respiratory mask.
