The device has a screw (15) displacing a support (16) parallel to forward motion of a parallelepiped product (5). A sub-assembly formed by skids (3) adjusts the device based on height of the product, where the skids slide in guide rails (2, 9) fixed on the support. Connecting rods (4, 7) are fixed on the skids and to a support bar (1) that allows adaptation of the device to formats of the product. The product is guided between bars (10, 14) separated from each other. Heating plates are arranged in outlet of the device to join ends of a cellophane film in sides of the product.
