The panel (2) has an internal sheet (4) and an external reinforcement sheet (6) symmetrically distinct with respect to a vertical median plane (P) of the panel, where the sheets are thin shells. A reinforcement plate (16) is rigidly fixed on vertical front edges (12). The sheets support accessories e.g. interior handle, of the door. The sheets are formed of molded, hydroformed and/or pressed metallic sheet, metallic foam e.g. aluminum foam, metallic powder e.g. magnesium powder, or composite material.
