The cable (1') has fibers extending in a longitudinal direction of the cable and being twisted for forming a strand. Certain fibers (20) are made of an electrical conducting material e.g. copper, where the remaining fibers (40) are made of non-conducting material e.g. polyamide or high-strength polyester. The fibers (20) are arranged in the strand to be in contact with each other on their lengths. An insulating tube (30) surrounds the strand along the cable. The non-conducting material has an extension with a rupture higher than 10 percentage.
