The lift has a propulsion device maintaining footboards above a floor (P). Action of legs of the user on the boards activates balance, transmission and sector pinions (41, 42, 43) that coordinate propulsion of blocker by an equalizer beam (46). User acts directly on the blockers. The device has a casing (48) in rectangular sheet plate at inside from bottom to top along horizontal axes. A sector (44) is mounted on the pinion (43) for supporting cables (47) that are connected to footboards. The beam is mounted on the pinion (41), where each of two ends of the beam is mounted to the blocker.
