The sensor has magneto-sensitive elements (2, 3), and a permanent magnet (1) defined in a Cartesian mark (x, y, z) or a cylindrical mark. The magnet is movable with respect to the elements, and has a dimension varying along a non-constant function. Magnetization of the magnet is oriented along a single direction when the magnet is defined in the Cartesian mark or another direction when the magnet is defined in the cylindrical mark. The magnet is mounted on a ferromagnetic yoke.
