The cable (1) has wires (2) twisted with each other so as to form central and peripheral strands (3), where the cable is made of metal. The strands are twisted with each other, where the central strand forms a core (30) of the cable. The strands and the wires are coated with a primary layer, and with a colored thermoplastic (4) such as polyamide e.g. Rilsan(RTM: nylon-11). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a cable.
