The unit has a monolith (13) for entrapping hydrocarbons placed in a casing (15), where the monolith is made up of INTERAM 100(RTM: heat insulation material) such as ceramics. A gas outlet pipe is in contact with the monolith at inside the casing. The gas outlet pipe is constituted by a space (19) between an internal wall of the casing and a surface of the monolith, where the monolith is surrounded by an envelope.
