Operational fault signaling method for electronic power system of e.g. car, involves simulating non-conformity of current characteristics i.e. instantaneous value, of phase voltages during operational defect of synchronous rectifiers
The method involves simulating non-conformity of current characteristics i.e. instantaneous value, of phase voltages (Ph1, Ph5, Ph6) during an operational defect of synchronous rectifiers (5) using a simulating unit of a controlling circuit (7), where the rectifiers are used for rectifying the voltages produced by a polyphase diode bridge alternator i.e. hexaphase alternator. An error voltage is added to the phase voltages during the defect of the rectifiers. The phase voltages are enforced with an inadequate voltage during the defect of the rectifiers. An independent claim is also included for an operational fault signaling device comprising a controlling circuit.
