The device has a detachable carpet (10) comprising bottom (12) whose lower surface is in contact with a receptacle (16) e.g. detachable package tray, of a vehicle and an upper surface (18) receives objects. The upper surface of the carpet has multiple spurs (20) with different heights and arrangements, and made of elastically deformable plastic material such that the spurs maintain small and large size objects (19a, 19b) by locking effect.
