The present invention relates to: new beta-quartz glass-ceramics, transparent and essentially colorless, the composition of which is free from As2O3 and Sb2O3, the said composition of which contains a very specific combination of the three nucleating agents: TiO2, ZrO2 and SnO2; TiO2 being present at a low content - articles in said new glass-ceramics - lithium alumino-silicate glasses, precursors of such new glass-ceramics, which make it possible to obtain said new vitroceramics, transparent and essentially colorless, with short ceramization times, which is very interesting from an economic point of view; as well as methods for producing said new glass-ceramics and said articles in said new glass-ceramics.
