The device (4) has an elastic annular amplification part (16) converting an angular clearance relative to two elements (11, 13) of a rotating shaft assembly (2) for displacing targets (18, 20) along a measurement direction parallel to a torsion axis of the elements. Sensors (22, 24) measure displacement of one of the targets. The part comprises deformable bulge arches connected between two fixation points of the elements, where one of the fixation points of the element (13) is disposed in the other fixation point of the element (11). INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an assembly formed by a rotating shaft and a torque measuring device.
