The method involves searching anomaly zones (S1, S2) of an examined curve (19). Geometry of each anomaly zone of the examined curve is corrected if the anomaly zones are found. One of derivatives of a function of one of radial coordinate (R), angular coordinate (TETA) and axial coordinate of the curve with respect to a function of other coordinates exceeds a predetermined threshold value in the anomaly zones relative to spectacle frames, where the value is common to the spectacle frames. An independent claim is also included for a method for acquiring geometry of a contour of a circle groove of a spectacle frame.
