Cosmetic method of making-up keratin materials involves application to the keratin materials, via at least one composition comprising: a silicone compound (X), a compound (Y 1) that can be react with silicone by catalytic hydrosilylation or condensation; at least one compatible oil; and optionally at least one catalyst. The compounds X and Y 1and the oil, and their respective amounts, is such that the transfer index of the compositions is = 40 out of 100. An independent claim is included for make-up kit comprising at least two compositions which are packaged separately, comprise: the compound (X), the compound (Y 1) and optionally the catalyst, with the proviso that the compounds X and Y 1and the catalyst are not present simultaneously in the same composition; where one of the first and second compositions comprising the compatible oil, the compounds X and Y 1and the oil, and their respective amounts, is such that the transfer index of a deposit comprising the two compositions is = 40 out of 100.
