Liquid anhydrous composition (I) intended to be incorporated into drinking water of livestock, comprises at least one active ingredient dissolved in one or more water soluble organic solvents, at least one surfactant and xanthan gum. An independent claim is included for a method for incorporating (I) in drinking water of livestock comprising diluting (I) in a dilution tank (3) to form a pseudo-solution and incorporating the pseudo-solution in the drinking water of the livestock.
