The vehicle (1) has roof elements (5a, 5b) covering and uncovering a cab interior (7) in respective deployed and retracted states. Holding and displacing units (40) hold a rear parcel shelf (19) and displace the shelf between several positions based on the roof state or movements with respect to a chassis (3). The shelf or the units ensure a shelf movement in the direction of the elements, under an effort exerted towards the bottom. Contacting units (59) establish a soft contact between the shelf and the elements, when units enter in contact during the movement under shelf effort.
