The trolley (1) has a chassis (3) supported by an axle (2) that is mounted pivotably around a vertical axis (10). The chassis has a drawbar (7) mounted pivotably around the vertical axis, where the drawbar co-operates with the axle and orients the axle. A reversible locking unit (13) locks the axle in position with respect to the chassis. The locking unit co-operates with the drawbar such that the locking unit is unlocked and locked when the drawbar is subjected and not subjected to a sufficient lateral force, respectively.
