The piston (1) has a partially delineated circular surface (3) formed in a cylinder, where the surface has raised pattern design for increasing the flow condition of the gas entering in a combustion chamber. The surface comprises curved steps (8) and an annular and helical shaped ramp (5), where the ramp has a progressive slope connecting a lower zone (6) to an upper zone (7). The surface has a concave part (4), which is surrounded by the ramp. An independent claim is also included for an indirect fuel injecting internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle comprising a cylinder head and valves.
