The liner (6) has a wall (10) supporting elements e.g. cable assembly (22), of a door (2), and a sealed sheet (20) attached with a part of a surface of the wall. A fastener (21) has a hole for receiving a clip to fix each element of the door on the liner. The fastener has a base supporting on the sealed sheet, where the fastener and the sheet are made of polypropylene. The fastener is welded with the sealed sheet along the base of the fastener. An independent claim is also included for a method for setting a fastener on an internal door liner of a motor vehicle.
