Gearbox defect detecting method for motor vehicle, involves controlling constant acceleration of primary shaft, controlling constant deceleration of primary shaft, and applying torque on secondary shaft during determined period
The method involves controlling a constant acceleration of a primary shaft and applying a constant torque (C1) opposite to the acceleration on a secondary shaft, during a determined period. Speed (V1) of the primary shaft is controlled, and two torques (C1, C2) are applied on the secondary shaft, during two determined measurement periods at two vibratory levels of a gearbox, respectively. A constant deceleration of the primary shaft is controlled, and the torque (C2) is applied on the secondary shaft during another determined period.
