The pump has a tubular body (1) extending along a central axis (A) between a lower end (3) and an upper end (4) of the body. An end member (14) has a central opening associated with the upper end of the body. A dosage chamber (2) is formed between an inlet orifice (6) and an exhaust orifice, and is delimited by the body and a compression unit. An inlet valve and an exhaust valve (33) selectively close the inlet orifice and the exhaust orifice, respectively. The compression unit is stopped against a limit stop i.e. shoulder (39), of the end member in stroke end position.
