The method involves performing vibration excitation of measurement pipes (2, 3) e.g. omega shaped measurement pipes, by applying Coriolis force or torque, and measuring vibration response e.g. displacement, of the pipes. The force exerted on the pipes is estimated from characteristics of excitation and excitation response vibrations to determine a mass flow of a fuel gas (G) i.e. fluid, in the pipes. The pipes are subjected to a determined external pressure having a pressure difference lower than 10 bar, with respect to a pressure (P) of the gas during excitation and response measurement. An independent claim is also included for a pressurized gas flow rate measuring device comprising a measuring pipe.
