The device (1) has an adjusting unit for adjusting a height of a base (3) of an arm (2) with variable length, where the base of the arm is carried by a plate (4), which is cooperated with a slider shoe (5). The base of the arm is articulated around an axle that is horizontal and orthogonal to a longitudinal axle of a motor vehicle e.g. car, such that tilting of the arm produces displacement of the base based on the longitudinal axle of the vehicle. The arm includes a vertical pivoting axle (7) for pivoting the base in a horizontal plane.
